Various: Future Legend Records : Record label run by producer Russell Writer, claimed by many to be the new Joe Meek. Specializing in Cult TV and Film Themes, their last release, Cult Themes from the 80's, featured the Soul Detectives version of the Theme from Peter Gunn. Definitely worth a look if you fancy a shift away from the mainstream. Big Noise Recording Studio : Excellent recording studio in Rochford, Essex where The Soul Detectives worked on their first two albums. Two tracks from the recent "Cult Themes from the 80's" album were also completed here. Riga Music Bar The best live venue in Southend and one of the very best in the whole of Essex. Riga has seen the launch of both the Soul Detectives last album "When you're ready..." and the first of the launch gigs for the Cult Themes from the 80's album. The tenth anniversary album "Carry on RIGArdless" was also recorded at the venue.
